Onboard our boat, we have a NEBO Tracker. NEBO is a service that tracks your voyages, maps them, and sends you detailed reports on where you have been, how fast you went, and a variety of other useful information.
You can also use NEBO to see and message other boaters. Members of the AGLCA (America’s Great Loop Looping community) get a special icon on NEBO so that you can easily be identified (and identify other members) in your area.
Brenda and I use this to see who is around our next stopping point or who might be cruising by our house so that we can reach out to them as Harbor Hosts.
There are two methods that you can use NEBO. First, you can run it on your iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, or Android Tablet, the NEBO App is available in the App Stores. Second, you can purchase a Dongle from NEBO that connects to 12-volt power in your boat, and automatically starts, stops, and records your vessel’s movement. This way you don’t even have to think about it! More information on NEBO can be found on their website https://Nebo.global.
Here is our current position map. The White Dot is the current location of m/v Kissed Some Frogs.
You can click here to open the map in its own browser window.
